House for a Collector

The site lies on the edge of a Cotswold village. The project brief called for a new house for a family with two teenage boys, and as the setting for a collection of artwork, fine furniture and books.

The project interprets the client’s brief as a cluster of three distinct forms. Each is scaled in response to the immediate rural context, and their positions within the site articulate four landscape spaces of differing use and levels of privacy.
